There's something I've been wondering about, and you seem like a good person to ask. At the beginning of the game, your sister warns you about perverts on the bus and especially warns you about walking around and riding the bus after midnight. From what I can see, though, almost nothing seems to ever actually happen. Is there basically no content related to that in the game, or is it just really rare?
When messing around with stuff, I could never get anything to happen when walking around, and bus stuff seems to only happen when I'm drunk. I did manage to get one bus scene while sober, and my character said something along the lines of "is this what my sister warned me about," but I've never been able to trigger it again, even on a save from before it happened.
As I have said, I have no deeper information on the inner workings of the game. Just rough understanding from hours spent playing it with different origin stories.
That said, from what I experienced, there is some stuff your sister warns you about that is really true. And not only on the bus. It is just strongly dependent above allon two of your character's attributes: Desire and Allure. Allure regulates how eager the men around you are willing to mingle with you. Desire regulates how much you are willing (or unwilling) to reject their approaches. The other attributes, Confidence, Fitness, etc. and alcohol also play a role but they aren't as obvious.
Take for example the school bullies. They will harass you as long as your confidence is very low. I don't think they will rape you since I've never seen it happen, but I'm not sure because one of my priorities is always to increase confidence as fast as possible. Perhaps I will try the Bambi setting next to test what happens.
But yes, there are situations where you will be raped on the bus or in the park to name just two of the more probable locations without the possibility to offer resistance. Just be really alluring (400++) and have your desire on overdrive (300++ or better more. I think my "best" value was way higher. Don't remember exactly, but perhaps higher than 1000.) Being drunk and on the move on weekends after midnight helps a lot.
Try to serve in the pub on Saturday until it closes around 3 AM on Sunday. Prepare a really revealing outfit to switch (or be switched) to. If some of the customers invited you to drink with them and spiced your drink with a LEBO, the probability for you to be attacked and unable to reject the advances is very high. You can also increase your Desire to your max pretty easily by wearing an anal plug. This can be sometimes found or bought.
The probability to be forced to have sex is also very high during the Haven mission. But here, again, I managed to escape this fate even when plying with a Bimbo origin. Just had to reload once or twice.
I am an old school role player and thus try to immerse myself very deeply in the role of the character. Therefore I always try to avoid unwanted sex in this game. Partly because of the game's setting being as it is a caricature of a misogynistic world. So perhaps my view is somewhat distorted.
But I think it's true that the world of "The Fixer" is not as brutal as it is communicated. A lot of really negative encounters can be avoided if you are not front-up reckless. Possibly Sam_Tail has either defused the game since the initial release, where the sister was conceived, or simply didn't find the time to implement the more brutal aspects yet.
With high Desire and Allure I was able to get some things to trigger, but I feel like needing high Desire kind of defeats the point. At that point, you character accepts/encourages what's being done to her, so it's debatable if it's even rape at that point. Seems like it would make more sense for it to only rely on Allure, with Desire just controlling whether or not you're willing. Also, you mentioned events "without the possibility to offer resistance," but I was given the option to resist in almost every event I saw. And this whole notion of women who "just pretend and just need to be aroused and then they are willing" is a very misguided misconception from real life porn, has nothing to do with reality and which, funnily enough, matches this whole misogynistic world of "The Fixer" perfectly.
And your argument about Allure is also borderline, since many rapers argue it's the women's own fault for wearing revealing clothing.

The whole notion of the forced re-population, child licenses and women being forced to carry to term their offspring even in cases of planned brutal rape is already disturbing enough. When I was talking about things being debatable if they're rape, I wasn't referring to things that happen if her drink is spiked. I was talking about naturally having your character's desire get super high (which it will do if you're not doing anything sexual), getting on the bus, and then actively choosing to let someone fuck her. There's one event at high Desire where she consciously chooses to look for someone to grope her, and then you're given the choice on whether or not to let them go further. There's another event where someone just starts groping her, and it begins with a "Accept Sexual Advances" popup. This one is directly dependent on desire. There is no "Reject" version of this event. If you're Desire is low enough that you'd reject the advances, the event just doesn't even trigger.
I also didn't say anything about high Allure making it "the woman's fault." I'm just saying if nonconsensual events have to rely on any stat to trigger, Allure is the one that would make the most sense. It's the same way that Degrees of Lewdity works. The higher your Allure, the higher the chance that someone will attack you. Maybe part of the problem is, because of the dialogue, I'm expecting this game's world to be similar to Degrees of Lewdity. And maybe the intention is that it is similar in the lore, but not in the gameplay.
Did you notice the Danger Days option within the cheat menu? It is placed with pregnancy options ... but not related to her menstrual cycle ... by default it is disabled (False) ...
It enables (True) or disables (False) random encounters with bad guys ... as long as enabled, the chance for bad events increases gradually until it reaches it´s peak after about 2 weeks ... as long as disabled, bad things will almost never happen, unless you beg for it (naked,horny,wasted) ...

The hospital is indeed there, I didn't check the game thoroughly, However, there is still no option to enlarge the breasts, because in my opinion, even the ones with the number 3 are too small in the game... It would be nice if the male character had a penis, because mine doesn't have one unfortunately and it's a bit weird, I'm also waiting for the trans gender to be added (mostly shemales) because the male character has a pussy in this game I don't know why....

The picture you included above is from when you skip the prologue. I hope you played the prologue at least once. The "Male start" doesn't mean you play a male. It only means you were a male before the accident and before you got your new, female, body.
According to the story, this body was never meant to be male and was in fact prepared for another candidate who, without being explained in more detail, failed to occupy it. And so you were accidentally put inside, no matter if you have been a male or female before. Your previous body being male or female only means your starting properties and perks are slightly different.
Of course I'm not the developer so I'm not able to speak for them but from the explanations in the story and some comments I believe to have read in the past, the main character is meant to be 100% female. She is meant to be kind of a modern Mata Hari who was 100% female as well. So I doubt there will ever be a futa version. This simply isn't this kind of game and from what I've seen in the game until now, it simply wouldn't match with the game's background. You are meant to be a vulnerable woman who is meant to receive and not to give. But of course this is just my opinion and understanding. I may be completely wrong. Only Sam_Tail could tell.
And from the technical point of view, if you consider that all the graphics are painted by hand and each additional physical form would mean re-generating all the body parts and clothes for each of the new forms, I doubt Sam_Tail is willing to go this way. But here, too, of course I know nothing and who knows. Perhaps if you are a very generous Patreon supporter they might consider your wishes :)

Although one might argue that "The Fixer", although written in RenPy, isn't your typical visual novel and, while containing a lot of important information in text form, might lead people to believe it is mainly a visual only game.
Of course people who play "The Fixer" without following the full descriptions and the story written in text form miss half of the fun of this great game. It's our "duty" to point this out to them. ;)

No, I don't think there is one. The milk atm is just a game breaking cheat item ;)
Once you can "produce" milk, you don't have to think about other ways to earn money. You can make about 50 milk bottles a week for 30$ each. An empty bottle is 5$ each. That's 1.250$ a week.
Story-wise, she has her own place and works at The Institute. Gameplay, I don't think Sam Tail has made it that far yet. Sam Tail has said some things in the past about plans for Emile. These posts are old, but they'll give you an idea of what's happening.

"The idea is that Emile will stay with you for the first few days and show you around town. There will be a bunch of introduction events for new players that will show you lots of the more important areas and give some exposition about the area. I wish we were able to customize the outfits of our roommate, friends and possibly the dance group if we have a certain level of intimacy or they are corrupted to a certain level, plus I need more(hopefully if possible) slutty/sexier outfits e.g Virgin Killer, Nano Skirt(normal/pleated), more Slutty/Sexy school outfits, Reverse Bunny Suit, Sexier dresses that u can fully turn Fishnet plus top,tee and bottom, open chest or V chest cat suit(latex suit) and lastly some cool headgear like Biker helmet.
Note: This is just my own and buy no means do wish to force it upon you just what I feel I would love to see in the game but the game is not for me it's for everyone and the dev has his/her freedom to choose or not
Some of the outfits you describe are already in the game. At least the latest version 0.3.3.21. But I bet, a lot of them are also already present in the latest public version.
If you want to check which are, in the cheat menu choose "Add clothes". Be careful to save before using the cheat menu or you will make your game more or less trivial.
But you are totally right regarding the outfits of the PCs. I would love to have an option to gift outfits to them (gifting in general is already implemented) and to see them use your gifts occasionally. In my opinion 'forcing' them to wear what you say would be counter immersive and break the delicate psychological balance of the game.
I know some of the outfits are already in-game and u can create them with the wardrobe but of course I hope we can get more.
Now as for the side characters that u can befriend I don't want the corruption to be forced but rather much like how the roommate gets sluttier the she opens up to you.

I'm at the school, and the game prompted me to choose between a bunch of options (nerd, exhibitionist, brood mother, etc), but no matter what option I choose, it crashes. What do?

After playing soccer with them for a while I decided to just hang out with them instead from end of school (2 PM?) right until the end (5 PM). When they ended the game they invited me to hang around with them behind the old locker room. This is the key. Afterwards it's possible to have sex with them in several different ways when hanging out with them after the game.
The best way is to be pretty horny and stay until they go shower after the soccer game. Then you can join them and if you are horny enough you will be willing to have sex with one of them (I think randomly chosen) or even two simultaneously.

It's in a toolbox up high in one of the "back rooms". Normally, you have to look for it multiple times. Must be very lucky to get to see it on the first try.
Due to the effects and dialogue, other origins come across with a sort of odd personality. But Gamine’s dialogue feels more like, “I’m doing this because I need to survive, not because I enjoy it.” and it fits more with the storyline if you pick former man origin.
I haven’t tried many origins myself, but I’ve read the descriptions, so I know what they do. In most cases, the debuffs outweigh the benefits. And “Bimbo” just really bothers me; I get the concept, but it disables certain abilities by reducing intelligence.
Could you specify what you consider "the best"? The best according to what? The game in my opinion is very well made in a sense that it plays differently but equally captivating depending on the kind of character you choose to play.
I have checked out several different origins and must say I wasn't disappointed in any one of them. Well, I didn't play the more extreme ones yet, like the bimbo or Broodmother, so I don't know about those. But then, I tend to role play the characters I choose so I try to optimize the play to my understanding of them.
While I would agree with the meaning that Gamine is very consistent with the setting, you have to remember that your original character started before the pandemic, when the world wasn't so screwed up as it is now, so in my opinion it's not necessary "the best".
I liked the "Gym bunny" very much. She is also well integrated since you are enrolled in the dancing class and there is a lot of fitness based content.
I now played the Bimbo setting and must say it plays as well - or even better - than all the other, more "normal" settings. It's really fun and as with all the others, Bimbo is very well made and role plying it can be very fun. How she talks can be hilarious. Of course it helped that I gave my character the biggest boobs and long platinum blond hair. And funny enough all the starting clothes Emile both me were optimized for bimbo play.
Once again I can say, Sam_Tail made a very fine game.
Dead? You must have took a long time in finding Mira. I managed to save Mira after 5 days of triggering the "Find Mira" quest, got Cass and Mira to reunite, then the quest was successfully completed.
I didn't do it for that long bro, I found Mira about 6/7 days and after visiting Mira in the hospital a few days later when I went to the beach there was an event where I found Mira's body and if I didn't go to the beach suddenly my character said that Mira was dead
I don't know but when I was walking around suddenly my character said that maybe Mira has died because it hasn't been found even though my mission has been completed, or maybe it's indeed a bug in version 0.3.3.17?
so i got the quest and eventually Dan mentioned that Mira was at the highway, i went to tell Cass and the next step is "Meet Cass and ask around the highway if anyways has seen Mira" but i can't make any more progress, whenever i talk to Cass its just normal chatting. do you remember how to get past that point?
This game is very amazing! but I do have a question. when Emile takes me to the beach. how do i get her to give me the transparent bikini? i got it happen once by accident and then never again. just want to know what are the requirements for it?
Did you know you could make your clothes including bikinis, transparent using the wardrobe? As for Emile, she will give you different clothes and different bikinis depending on your origin perk. If you chose Exhibitionist perk for example, Emile will only give you a panty as beachwear.
I love this game! Just got to the bit where oskar and robin are fucking, and after walking in on them once it keeps saying that I'll be able to join them. Do I need to wait a few in game days or keep chatting with robin?
Fair enough, does more stuff unlock when playing the story btw? Like characters and stuff? I'm asking since I'm only at the part just after being able to enter the police station
PC. Most indie games run just fine on my end, the game's rendering method for scenes is just poorly optimized, as it should not, under any circumstances crash outright when loading a scene.
Save-scumming is your friend. On the truck stop, sell yourself, then save and reload until you get "No one seems interested right now" then save and reload again, until you can talk to the whores around. If you're lucky, this would lead you to a loop that will complete the gathering intel quest right away.
Just to make this a bit more clear. It's impossible to actually talk to the working girls there directly. Well if you happen to actually know a few of them already, you can talk to them, but you get no useful information that way. That's not what is needed here. You have to prostitute yourself and hope that either no one "bites" and you talk to the girls instead (and get a useful information). Or sometimes one of the punters you go to bed with knows something about her. Rinse and repeat. As Pawpcorn already mentioned, save scumming helps a lot.
Some additional tips:
If you prepare a blue room, you can clean up and rest (and change clothes) there so you can do it in just one day/night without save scumming as well.
Best prepare the pill after if you don't want to end up pregnant afterwards.
You will end up bruised with a high probability so consider holding back 500 bucks and getting a treatment at the hospital. It will heal automatically after a few days as always but it could turn out pretty bad (as in my case) and you get several debuffs through heavy bruises.
I plan to maybe write about this game, what i think thats interesting is the worldbuilding. Its literally our world economy right now, you can't find any good jobs, everthing is privatised, shady companies runs the world, and you can only to stuff if you know....

It enables (True) or disables (False) random encounters with bad guys ... as long as enabled, the chance for bad events increases gradually until it reaches it´s peak after about 2 weeks ... as long as disabled, bad things will almost never happen, unless you beg for it (naked,horny,wasted) ...

Game version? There is a significant rewrite of code to handle this between the latest public version and the latest Patreon version.
But that being said, I don't have any problems with either.
In the new color picker, try to double click and don't choose colors right at the border. Those are the only tricky issues I encountered.

And have you looked at the Post streetwaker update plans above? The development for now was pretty much along the lines described there.
I'm not a Patron, so I doubt I can ask any questions there. As for the update plans, the Oskar update does mention that Robin might "prefer Sammy at home," but that's pretty vague.

Well, there is already a hospital for changing your body, isn't there? It's just that the game - at least for now - only allows for the breast size to be adjusted.
I wonder if you played the game to the point where the background is explained. Or if you did, if you really paid attention when Dr. Tucker explained the purpose of the character.
The picture you included above is from when you skip the prologue. I hope you played the prologue at least once. The "Male start" doesn't mean you play a male. It only means you were a male before the accident and before you got your new, female, body.
According to the story, this body was never meant to be male and was in fact prepared for another candidate who, without being explained in more detail, failed to occupy it. And so you were accidentally put inside, no matter if you have been a male or female before. Your previous body being male or female only means your starting properties and perks are slightly different.
Of course I'm not the developer so I'm not able to speak for them but from the explanations in the story and some comments I believe to have read in the past, the main character is meant to be 100% female. She is meant to be kind of a modern Mata Hari who was 100% female as well. So I doubt there will ever be a futa version. This simply isn't this kind of game and from what I've seen in the game until now, it simply wouldn't match with the game's background. You are meant to be a vulnerable woman who is meant to receive and not to give. But of course this is just my opinion and understanding. I may be completely wrong. Only Sam_Tail could tell.
And from the technical point of view, if you consider that all the graphics are painted by hand and each additional physical form would mean re-generating all the body parts and clothes for each of the new forms, I doubt Sam_Tail is willing to go this way. But here, too, of course I know nothing and who knows. Perhaps if you are a very generous Patreon supporter they might consider your wishes :)

It amazes me how often I see this on comment sections for Visual Novels, despite "reading" literally being in the genre description.
Not to disagree with you, I completely see it like this, too, in general.
Although one might argue that "The Fixer", although written in RenPy, isn't your typical visual novel and, while containing a lot of important information in text form, might lead people to believe it is mainly a visual only game.
Of course people who play "The Fixer" without following the full descriptions and the story written in text form miss half of the fun of this great game. It's our "duty" to point this out to them. ;)

No, I don't think there is one. The milk atm is just a game breaking cheat item ;)
Once you can "produce" milk, you don't have to think about other ways to earn money. You can make about 50 milk bottles a week for 30$ each. An empty bottle is 5$ each. That's 1.250$ a week.
Does anyone know where does Emile go after she leaves the house?
Story-wise, she has her own place and works at The Institute. Gameplay, I don't think Sam Tail has made it that far yet. Sam Tail has said some things in the past about plans for Emile. These posts are old, but they'll give you an idea of what's happening.
Sam Tail:
"The idea is that Emile will stay with you for the first few days and show you around town. There will be a bunch of introduction events for new players that will show you lots of the more important areas and give some exposition about the area. There will also be more character building for Emile since she will be an important character moving forward. Then there will be an event where she leaves to go back to her own home."

I wish we were able to customize the outfits of our roommate, friends and possibly the dance group if we have a certain level of intimacy or they are corrupted to a certain level, plus I need more(hopefully if possible) slutty/sexier outfits e.g Virgin Killer, Nano Skirt(normal/pleated), more Slutty/Sexy school outfits, Reverse Bunny Suit, Sexier dresses that u can fully turn Fishnet plus top,tee and bottom, open chest or V chest cat suit(latex suit) and lastly some cool headgear like Biker helmet.
Note: This is just my own and buy no means do wish to force it upon you just what I feel I would love to see in the game but the game is not for me it's for everyone and the dev has his/her freedom to choose or not
Some of the outfits you describe are already in the game. At least the latest version 0.3.3.21. But I bet, a lot of them are also already present in the latest public version.
If you want to check which are, in the cheat menu choose "Add clothes". Be careful to save before using the cheat menu or you will make your game more or less trivial.
But you are totally right regarding the outfits of the PCs. I would love to have an option to gift outfits to them (gifting in general is already implemented) and to see them use your gifts occasionally. In my opinion 'forcing' them to wear what you say would be counter immersive and break the delicate psychological balance of the game.
I know some of the outfits are already in-game and u can create them with the wardrobe but of course I hope we can get more.
Now as for the side characters that u can befriend I don't want the corruption to be forced but rather much like how the roommate gets sluttier the she opens up to you.

After playing soccer with them for a while I decided to just hang out with them instead from end of school (2 PM?) right until the end (5 PM). When they ended the game they invited me to hang around with them behind the old locker room. This is the key. Afterwards it's possible to have sex with them in several different ways when hanging out with them after the game.
The best way is to be pretty horny and stay until they go shower after the soccer game. Then you can join them and if you are horny enough you will be willing to have sex with one of them (I think randomly chosen) or even two simultaneously.

I've restarted the game 3 times and I found a talk with Emile will show you the best origin perk, which is Gamine.
OK, but why is the best?
Due to the effects and dialogue, other origins come across with a sort of odd personality. But Gamine’s dialogue feels more like, “I’m doing this because I need to survive, not because I enjoy it.” and it fits more with the storyline if you pick former man origin.
I haven’t tried many origins myself, but I’ve read the descriptions, so I know what they do. In most cases, the debuffs outweigh the benefits. And “Bimbo” just really bothers me; I get the concept, but it disables certain abilities by reducing intelligence.
Exhibitionist adds some additional possible stuff sometimes during quests aswell
Could you specify what you consider "the best"? The best according to what? The game in my opinion is very well made in a sense that it plays differently but equally captivating depending on the kind of character you choose to play.
I have checked out several different origins and must say I wasn't disappointed in any one of them. Well, I didn't play the more extreme ones yet, like the bimbo or Broodmother, so I don't know about those. But then, I tend to role play the characters I choose so I try to optimize the play to my understanding of them.
While I would agree with the meaning that Gamine is very consistent with the setting, you have to remember that your original character started before the pandemic, when the world wasn't so screwed up as it is now, so in my opinion it's not necessary "the best".
I liked the "Gym bunny" very much. She is also well integrated since you are enrolled in the dancing class and there is a lot of fitness based content.
I now played the Bimbo setting and must say it plays as well - or even better - than all the other, more "normal" settings. It's really fun and as with all the others, Bimbo is very well made and role plying it can be very fun. How she talks can be hilarious. Of course it helped that I gave my character the biggest boobs and long platinum blond hair. And funny enough all the starting clothes Emile both me were optimized for bimbo play.
Once again I can say, Sam_Tail made a very fine game.

Dead? You must have took a long time in finding Mira. I managed to save Mira after 5 days of triggering the "Find Mira" quest, got Cass and Mira to reunite, then the quest was successfully completed.
I didn't do it for that long bro, I found Mira about 6/7 days and after visiting Mira in the hospital a few days later when I went to the beach there was an event where I found Mira's body and if I didn't go to the beach suddenly my character said that Mira was dead

Did you know you could make your clothes including bikinis, transparent using the wardrobe? As for Emile, she will give you different clothes and different bikinis depending on your origin perk. If you chose Exhibitionist perk for example, Emile will only give you a panty as beachwear.

Most indie games run just fine on my end, the game's rendering method for scenes is just poorly optimized, as it should not, under any circumstances crash outright when loading a scene.

How to finish mira’s quest? Getting 10 information is just impossible. I got only 1 information during 30 minutes.
you should talk to the prostitutes at the truckstop
Save-scumming is your friend. On the truck stop, sell yourself, then save and reload until you get "No one seems interested right now" then save and reload again, until you can talk to the whores around. If you're lucky, this would lead you to a loop that will complete the gathering intel quest right away.
Just to make this a bit more clear. It's impossible to actually talk to the working girls there directly. Well if you happen to actually know a few of them already, you can talk to them, but you get no useful information that way. That's not what is needed here. You have to prostitute yourself and hope that either no one "bites" and you talk to the girls instead (and get a useful information). Or sometimes one of the punters you go to bed with knows something about her. Rinse and repeat. As Pawpcorn already mentioned, save scumming helps a lot.
Some additional tips:
If you prepare a blue room, you can clean up and rest (and change clothes) there so you can do it in just one day/night without save scumming as well.
Best prepare the pill after if you don't want to end up pregnant afterwards.
You will end up bruised with a high probability so consider holding back 500 bucks and getting a treatment at the hospital. It will heal automatically after a few days as always but it could turn out pretty bad (as in my case) and you get several debuffs through heavy bruises.
I plan to maybe write about this game, what i think thats interesting is the worldbuilding. Its literally our world economy right now, you can't find any good jobs, everthing is privatised, shady companies runs the world, and you can only to stuff if you know....
